Our yogashala is a peaceful and comfortable place to practice yoga. It has large windows with beautiful views of nature. The open space and calm environment help students focus and enjoy their yoga practice.
We serve freshly prepared, wholesome sattvic meals made with seasonal vegetables, whole grains, fresh fruits, and natural ingredients. Our kitchen uses Ayurvedic herbs and spices, legumes, pulses, nuts, and seeds — all meals are vegetarian, with vegan options available on request.
Good food and a calm, comfortable room make a real difference during an intensive course. Here is what our food & accommodation looks like day to day, so you know exactly what to expect when you arrive in Rishikesh.
You can choose between a private room, a budget private room or a twin shared room. All rooms are simple and clean, with attached bathrooms, and are a short walk from the yogashala, so there is no travel between classes. Private rooms suit those who value quiet and personal space, while twin shared rooms are a good way to meet fellow students and keep costs lower.
Room prices are included in your course fee and vary by course — you can see the exact figures on each course page, for example our 200 hour yoga teacher training. Free Wi-Fi and a laundry service are available throughout your stay.
Sattvic food is a traditional yogic way of eating based on fresh, simple and lightly spiced vegetarian dishes. It is meant to be easy to digest and to leave you feeling light and clear for practice, rather than heavy or overstimulated.
In practice this means seasonal vegetables, dals, rice, chapati, fruit and herbal teas, prepared fresh each day. You can read more about the idea of a sattvic diet, and our teachers also cover it during Ayurveda classes.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served every day of your course in our dining area, which makes mealtimes a relaxed chance to talk with teachers and fellow students after class. Vegan options are available on request — just let us know when you book. You are also free to eat at cafes in town at your own cost on your day off.
A yoga mat is provided for you, so there is no need to bring one. If you would like to arrive early or stay on after your course, extra nights can be arranged with meals included — contact our team for current rates.
